Yasakani no Magatama is an Energy Bending Emission and Manipulation technique crafted by Rai Narukami.
Background[]
After his defeat at the hands of the Lord Captain of the Imperial Guard, Toshiro Kurosawa, Rai Narukami identified three main weaknesses that led to his defeat. One of these was the inability to bring an opponent into his range of attack, and he worked to develop a technique that would counter this weakness. Using Emission and Manipulation together, Narukami managed to develop a technique that allowed him to focus on a single target and pull it towards him with great force.
Overview[]
Yasakani no Magatama utilizes Emission and Manipulation to control the energy around a target and apply an attractive force to the object, thereby pulling it in Narukami's exact direction. The technique requires a short time to concentrate around the target before the attractive force is applied, done by reaching out with one's hand and making a grasping gesture before pulling back. The technique applies a force powerful enough to send the average humanoid flying through the air towards Narukami at a distance between short to medium ranges. However, the technique weakens with distance in power, dropping off in force considerably past around 30 meters. Past this distance, the ability to pull an target is dramatically weaker, though can still be used to throw an enemy slightly off balance in a pinch.

- The name of this technique comes from one of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan, the jewel.
