Water can be manipulated by the usage of Aera.
Water's greatest strength is its versatility. Water employs defensive techniques that can quickly turn into attacks or counterattacks. Instead of eluding or deflecting an attack, the abilities are rather focused on turning the opponent's power against himself, rather than directly attacking.
To use Water, it is necessary to have an external water source. Generally, the bigger the amount of water, the stronger a technique can be. Advanced Water-users can use the humidity in the air or condensing water from the atmosphere to perform techniques. Master Water-users can manipulate the water in their own bodies, and even in the bodies of other beings.
Water's combined forms, Ice and Steam, rely on Phase Transition to be transformed into a different state of matter.
Strengths[]
- Moon: during the night, when the climate is colder, the strength of a water-user increases notably. During a full moon night, this is more noticeable than ever, since the power of the user is greater than in any of the other nights.
- Big Amount of Water: the bigger the amount of water close to the water user, the stronger the techniques of the user become. Especially if the user is using water from the ocean.
- Poles: a water-user will become stronger when they are closer to either the north or south pole.
Weaknesses[]
- Lunar Eclipse: during a lunar eclipse, a water-user loses part of his powers.
- External Water Source: the lack of water (in any state, even as humidity in the air) leaves the water-user defenseless. This is why some players carry water skins with them at all times.
- Extreme Cold: extreme cold freezes water. Due to this, a Water-user could be left defenseless. This weakness can be bypassed if the Water user learns to use Ice.
- Extreme Heat: extreme heat evaporates water. Due to this, a Water-user could be left defenseless. This weakness can be bypassed if the Water user learns to use Steam.
- Lightning: since water is a natural conductor of electricity. Therefore, when a water user is in contact with water, it is very vulnerable to lightning strikes.
