«The Four Horsemen» is the most powerful dungeon/event/game clearing guild as well as one of the smallest
successful ones in Sword Art: Other World. As the name implies, it is made up of only four players all of which are extremely powerful in a single path or attribute which gives their titles all also based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The most powerful member is the Fourth Horseman of Death, Akuma. It was founded by Gray, the First Horseman.

The main symbol of the «The Four Horsemen» is a fancy black Ace of Spades engraved with a green hazard symbol of Pestilence, a yellow symbol of Conquest, and a red symbol of Death over it in order. Each symbol is recognized as the mark of one of the Horseman with the Ace being a symbol of War, the hazard symbolizing Pestilence, the four-pointed star symbolizing conquest, and the ankh symbolizing death.
Background[]
The guild was originally formed between four assault team players that had become friends. They eventually created a guild with just them in it named after the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They were pretty famous considering they were made up of the strongest people on the assault team. One day, Akuma joined the assault team. The current Fourth Horseman at the time grew jealous of him "stealing the spotlight" all the time and he went insane killing people trying to get to him. He was eventually put down by Akuma. Acknowledging his power, the remaining horsemen invited him to join their guild. Akuma agreed, on the conditions he could remain playing solo unless he required assistance. They agreed on his conditions and Akuma replaced the former horseman and the Fourth Horseman, Death.

- The guild is named and based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the New Testament. The only differences is the order of the Horseman and their primary colors.
