Specter's Legacy is Hunter Kasai's Resonance Catalyst in Hazard ReBurst. It's a longsword generated from his EBO Avatar Data, reminiscent of a weapon he used in the prior game.
Design[]
Specter's Legacy is a silver European longsword with a red center to its angular blade; an ornate, angular guard with a dark blue gem embedded in the center of a rhombus-shaped indentation; and a red and black hilt with a silver spiked pommel. Runes are carved into the edge of the sword, with the Kanji for Hundred (百, Hyaku) engraved in the center of where the blade meets the guard.
The weapon is an excellent sword, sharp enough to cut through solid metal and concrete with ease. In comparison to similar swords, Specter's Legacy is significantly heavier and seemingly impossible to even lift. Despite this, Hunter is able to wield it as if it weighs nothing; this is all thanks to Hunter's constant Resonance and the weapon's unique origins, being a weapon generated from his previous Avatar's data and meant solely to be wielded by him. Hunter is capable of dismissing and summoning the weapon at will, no matter how far away it is. If knocked out of his hand, it will dismiss itself and reappear in his hand as needed. It disappears and reappears in a brief flash of red energy, producing sparks of energy as it manifests.
