This is the user policy of the Sword Art Online Fanon Wiki.
Expectations
Anonymous users cannot create pages, and will have 24 hours to create an account before their works become deleted.
Users are expected, but not required, to:
- Create characters, items, etc.
- Write a story revolving around those characters
- Create detailed elements pertaining to their story
- Comment on other users' creations.
Editing
Upon joining the SAO Fanon wiki, a user is considered a New User. This is no different from the "normal" user, except that new users will have 7 days to make edits to their page(s). If the new user does not make at least 3 days worth of edits, their pages will be deleted.
After the "evaluation" time has been reached, the new user will be granted immunity from their pages being deleted, as long as they maintain an active status on the wiki (using any form of edit). If a user has retired from the wiki for more than 6 months, they shall receive a notice of their absence, and be given 1 week to report back to the wiki.
Simplified Version
- New Users will have 7 days to make edits.
- At least 3 days of edits must be logged. If a user has expired their evaluation period, and this requirement has not been met, any pages they have created will be deleted.
- These days do not have to be consecutive.
- After evaluation, the user must be active. After 6 months, a notice of inactivity will be messaged to the user, asking for their return to the wiki. If the user has not replied or edited after one week, their pages will be deleted.
Rules
- This is an English wiki. Use English when editing and commenting. American and British spellings are both allowed.
- No spam or vandalization of other users' pages.
- Ban duration based on how many pages/how frequent the spam/vandalization is.
- Absolutely no links to sexually explicit sites, images, or any other media.
- This rule is of utmost severity. If reported or discovered live, the offending user will be banned indefinitely for a breach in Wikia's Terms of Use.
