A raptor is a large, powerful two-legged fethered reptile that reaches around seven to nine meters in length, and from 2 to 3 meters in height.
Its skull is elongated and armed with sharp, serrated teeth capable of cutting through flesh, and its jaws are strong enough to handle large, struggling animals. The forelimbs are powerful and ended in three long claws that provided additional gripping strength during an attack, while the hindlimbs carried a single, sickle-like claw, about 20 to 25 cm in length. Raptors also have a long, stiff tail that helped it maintain balance during rapid movements or while wrestling with prey.
