Nullification is an Energy Bending Conjuration technique in Endless Utopia Online.
Description[]
Nullification is a technique that forces the receiver into the Aera Null state, rendering him unable to pour Aera and therefore, unable to use any techniques that require Aera. In other words, this technique "seals" the Aera of the user inside the body.
To perform this technique, the user needs to touch the intended target and then shout "Null!". After this, the target's Aera will stop flowing out and return to his body, and therefore, all techniques that he is using will stop working in that instant. Nullification can be canceled by the caster at will, or if the caster is knocked unconscious or runs out of Aera.
The caster needs to remain touching the target, otherwise, the technique will stop working. This is why it is typically used once the target has been restrained, or at the very least, his movements are constrained. This technique is the most effective when the user can touch the chest or the back of the target. It is also more useful if the caster has more Aera than the target.
A variation of this technique can be cast on rooms or places, meaning once the intended target enters that place, he'll be forced into the Aera Null state. Another variation of this technique can be cast to objects, such as chains or shackles so that once the target has been cuffed, he'll be kept in a state of Null, at least until the chains are removed or broken. Both of these variations are used in prisons, or with captured criminals.
It should also be pointed out that neither of these variations require the caster to touch the target, but rather simply requires someone to pour Aera into the technique.
