Immovable Formation is an Energy Bending Conjuration technique in Endless Utopia Online.
Description[]
Immovable Formation is a Conjuration, sealing type, technique that serves to make a specific zone or structure impossible to control through any of the Elemental Bending, therefore "sealing" the nearby territory.
To activate Immovable Formation, the user must draw a specific seal on the ground and recite the phrase: [REDACTED]. Once done, the technique expands and covers the desired zone. The size of the sealed zone depends on the skill of the user. This drawback can be compensated if a group of people work together to activate this technique.
Once activated, Immovable Formation passively drains Aera from anyone inside the sealed zone willing to passively drain their Aera to maintain it working. If the users inside were to run out of Aera, the technique would stop working until they regained energy or someone new entered the zone willing to flow Aera into it.
In practice, this Aera Art is typically used in cities, villages, castles, or any construction that can be manipulated by Elemental Control. This is to protect anyone inside from anyone wishing to manipulate the structure, as well as protect the structure itself.
A secondary use is in combat. The user can use this technique on the ground, creating a circular diameter around him, sealing the nearby area to be manipulated by his enemy. The size of this circle varies from user to user, with factors including skill and amount of Aera. This application is quite useful at blocking any Earth-based techniques, along with its augmented or compound derivative Elements. Terrans or Half-Terrans are very suceptible to this since it leaves the earth in their vicinity impossible to exploit, leaving them with only Energy Bending and weapons to fight back. This technique is quite effective with Earth users of other races as well.
Most notably, Immovable Formation does not make the structure invulnerable to physical or Aera-enhanced attacks. If any part of the structure or zone were to be broken off from the majority, the technique would no longer work on that section, therefore it can be manipulated via Elemental Bending. The majority of the structure, however, would still be affected by it.
