Traits[]
The Risers are known for their orange hair, though some of them spot red. On rare occasions, the tips of their hair are of a different color than the rest. They are well known for their golden eyes.
Lore and Background[]
According to ancient rumors, there is Draco's blood in the origin of House Riser. It's said that an exiled Dracolord found safe haven in Avian territory and that after a while there he fell in love with an Avianlord's heir and only daughter. Once they were joined in marriage, the Dracolord cut ties with his people formally, changing his own last name to Riser.
Historically, there has been a rivalry between the Prydes and the Risers, mostly because both have had similar abilities over Fire. Some historians have also suggested that the rivalry also stems from the fact that the first Lord Riser was either a son or brother that rebelled against the then Lord Pryde, or maybe even a bastard son.
Abilities and Techniques[]
Befitting their sigil, the members of House Riser tend to be experts in using Fire and its derivative forms. The Risers have developed a number of Fire techniques, and also Sun and Scorch (the latter in part due to their natural affinity to Wind).
Some members of House Riser have shown notable skill in Light as well, one of their more iconic techniques being the Tears of the Phoenix, which is based on the healing capabilities of the Phoenix's tears.
