The «Whirlpool Dragon Tyrant» (ワールプール・ドラゴン・タイアルント, Wârupûru Doragon Taiarunto) is a quest that had only been available in game once. It involves entering the dungeon Whirlpool Abyss, that can be found at the waters not too distant from the Undine territory.
Initiation[]
Generated by the Cardinal System's «Automatic Quest Generation Function», this quest only became available in ALO one time during mid-summer. A player and his party could accept the quest by talking to the Whirlpool Disciple Dyer, who stands waiting by the coast of the Undine territory. He will then tell the faeries about the awakening of the sea dragon Nazrudin, and that he threaten the world and sought to devour it with the waters of Chaos. The party must venture deep into the Whirlpool Abyss, clear it's five halls consisting of five floors each, summing up to a total of 25 floors. A Nazrudin spawn would appear to challenge the party at the final floor of every hall, except for the last one, where the true sea dragon shall emerge.
In addition to that, players only have a total of fifteen minutes to clear the dungeon, or else they would have to restart again. This is due to the Blessing of Water Buff that only lasts for fifteen minutes. Without it, the players could not enter the halls of the Abyss.

It was found in the waters next to the Undine territory, while the Quest Giver, Dyer, is met on the coast of said land. Upon receiving the Blessing of Water Buff, the party would immediately be teleported to the First Hall of the Abyss.

The quest's main objective is to shut off the Sea Dragon Nazrudin, and clear the five halls of the dungeon within the time limit.

Note: These drops can be obtained from defeating Nazrudin spawns and Swirl Disciples inside the Abyss. Arondight, however, along with the weapon formulas, can only be obtained by clearing the entire dungeon.
