Sword Art Online: Reversal Rewind (, ソードアートオンライン・リバース リワインド^?, Sōdo Āto Onrain: Ribāsu Riwaindo) is the SAO fanfiction written by Yasuda Izumi. It is a reboot of SAO with the main cast genderbent. It is split into four arcs: Chaos Labyrinth, Project Dreamscape, Fairy Dance and Dark Yggdrasil. Reversal Rewind is followed by its sequel: Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale.

Overview

This is the story surrounding Shioko Kirigaya and her friends as they adventure through the death game of Sword Art Online, duel the King of Fairies to the death in ALfheim Online, and solve a series of murder cases in [[w:c:swordartonline:Gun Gale Online|]]. As the second main protagonist, Nijika Karatachi also appears in Reversal.
