Culture and Customs[]
Fiends respect strength above all. They seem obsessed not only with strength but also with remaining strong, since without testing and improving one's abilities, they may become weaker.
It is not only physical strength or martial ability the only thing that Fiends respect, but also politics, craftsmanship, trade, Aera Arts, and any other skill or ability that all help to create a stronger Empire.
To the other five Nations, the Fiends are considered warmongering and brutal, but even though that is true to an extent, theirs is also a rather meritocratic society where anyone with skill and the drive to succeed can get anywhere, regardless of background.
Despite this meritocratic ideal, the old noble families still wield considerable power at the heart of the empire.

The Fiends's territory is an Empire, governed by the Emperor of Darkness, who serves as an absolute monarch.
The title of emperor is not hereditary, but rather, has to be earned through combat. This is why the Dark Emperor is widely regarded as the strongest Fiend.
History[]
The first Emperor of Darkness was named Kanon Daemon, the younger brother of Morthora Daemon.
Abilities[]
Fiends have a strong affinity to Darkness, which is higher than any other race. Their affinity leaves them with a notable disadvantage, as it is the only element without any natural augmented or combined forms. This is why they tend to either learn other elements or complement their fighting style with Energy Bending.
Most Fiends have little to no skill in the element of Light. It is rare to find a Fiend that can control Light efficiently. Its is also rare, albeit not as much, to find a fiend with skill with Lightning. In most cases, they learn it by first learning Fire.
