Entity Burst Online, like many RPGs, has a variety of equipment to offer to players. This page categorizes Entities based on their Levels, their classifications, and a brief description being listed next to them as well as additional content if needed. Statistics for categorizing these include:

  • Melee Proficiency - How well one unit handles melee combat, in hand-to-hand combat or with weapons. All units have enough Melee Proficiency to at least fight in hand-to-hand combat situations with enough competence to win if they use what they have available to their advantage. If this stat is high enough in a unit, said unit can grant the user a melee weapon to wield, or may even include a variety of weapons for the user.
  • Firearm Proficiency - Measures the skill a unit has in firearms. Most units have enough Firearm Proficiency to handle handguns and similar weapons, with some units featuring high levels of this stat granting their own firearm for the user to wield.
  • Running Speed - Maximum running speed for the armor. Requires light-weight armor from the unit for higher speeds.
  • Defensive Capacity - The actual defensive parameters of the armor. Heavier armor increases this parameter, thus decreasing speed due to heavy armor.
  • Armor Durability - A measure of how long the armor will maintain its form until it expires and leaves the user unarmored. Usually measured as a percentage of how long the armor will last, with each armor displaying 100% and losing percentages according to the Defensive Capacity value.

Drivers[]

Drivers are the medium by which Entity Units are channeled into physical equipment for players. Three official Drivers exist, with various unofficial offshoots made by players. With each driver comes a specific channeling medium. For Cartridge Drivers, a cartridge-type Unit is wielded; End Drivers use pendants; and Card Drivers use cards. Official Drivers follow a specific assembly design, with custom player-made Drivers using similar parts in another manner that works for the player.

Cartridge Driver[]

As previously stated, the Cartridge Driver uses a cartridge for storing Entities. It is one of the only belt-based Drivers, alongside another official variation on the Card Driver and a prototype Driver designed by one of the Beta Testers that never fully made it past prototype testing. The Driver features the following components:

  • Burst Lever - The lever used to activate a Level Up sequence. By opening the lever, the Level Up sequence initiates. To Level Down, a player flips the lever back to the closed position.
  • Data Black Box - A literal box made of a black material embedded inside of the driver behind the Burst Display, which takes the data from an Entity Cartridge and inputs the data into box, with the output being conceived as a physical manifestation of the data; this item is what materializes the unit's data and makes the armor/augment devices within a Cartridge Driver.
  • Burst Display - A display screen in the center of the driver, which displays the screen of the cartridges. It projects a digital hologram of itself, which the user then interacts with or otherwise makes contact with to confirm usage.
  • Dual Cartridge Slots - A pair of slots for two cartridges. This receptacle accepts and locks up to two cartridges into the Driver. More advanced cartridges will take up both slots, thus making use of built-in Burst Strikes that utilize the Burst Lever instead of the Strike Slot Holder.
  • Strike Slot Holder - A side item on the belt strap, this is where single-slot Cartridge units are inserted for Burst Strike charging. An extension to this Strike Slot holds two more cartridges, for a total capacity of three.
  • Driver Strap - Made from a unique carbon nano-tube-like material, the Driver Straps are the same across all Drivers, expanding around the waist/wrist of the user and forming a snug fit to keep the driver in place. This Strap holds the Strike Slot Holder on the user's left side.

Card Driver[]

The Card Driver is the only one of the group to officially come in two versions. One version is a wrist brace-style, while the other is a belt similar to the Cartridge Driver. In either variation, both require a card to be inserted into the reader, then an additional action to confirm the transformation. The Driver's components are as follows:

  • Burst Reader - This device combines the Burst Display and Data Black Box into one component, acting as both the data materialization system and as well as displaying the Card currently inserted.
  • Strike Analyzer - A component that takes the place of the Strike Slot Holder, providing the Burst Strike charge as well as the slot in which the Entity card is slotted into. In the belt, this and the Burst Reader are assembled together as one piece, with the Strike Analyzer in the center and the Reader separated into two portions on either side of it. Using the right Reader activates the transformation, while the left Reader handles Burst Strikes. On the wrist brace, two separate buttons handle the transformation and Burst Strike functions.
  • Driver Strap - Standard-issue on all Drivers, this carbon nano-tube-like strap extends around the wrist/waist of the user and keeps the Driver in place.

End Driver[]

The End Driver comes in one variant: a wrist brace. As such, interactions with the End Driver are based around the user's arms. Pendants are inserted into the Central Node slot on the Driver, followed by the use of the Burst Button to activate the transformation. The Driver's components are:

  • Central Node - The center slot of the Driver where most interactions between the user and the Driver are made. It can project the user's inventory and access system menus without the need of the in-game hand gestures. Players insert their Pendants into this before using the Burst Button to activate additional features. The Central Node only has one slot, thus requiring the user to change the Pendant from the current Pendant to the Change/Augment unit they wish to use next.
  • Burst Button - As previously stated, the Burst Button is used for transformation purposes and for Burst Strikes. This component is actually formed from two smaller components that work in tandem to create the Burst Button. The first is the Burst Starter, which gathers Burst potential for finishers as well as apply Burst potential for transformation sequences. The other component is the Data Black Box that functions just like its Cartridge Driver counterpart.
  • Driver Strap - Just like the other Drivers, the End Driver uses a carbon nano-tube-like strap to secure the Driver to the user's wrist.

Level 0[]

Units categorized under Level 0 are unique Entities that are, in and of itself, a paradox. They hold incredible power within them, but are among the weakest units available. 0 is a metaphorical number, representing nothing and great potential, but also existing as one of the lowest numbers; this is reflected in Level 0's abilities being powerful, yet weak. However, this can be easily circumvented by using a higher level unit in addition to the Level 0 unit. Strangely enough, only the Change units act as "glass cannons," lacking good defense in exchange for great power. Level 0 Augment units seem to lack the weakness of Change units. Game Masters playing EBO are know to carry Level 0 units, usually with the ability to debug errors in game in the form of a hacking mini-game or via actually debugging the glitch/bug by changing the coding manually. Level 0 units were planned to be handed out to some of the beta testers as a reward, but was decided against at the last minute in favor of a personalized set of units or one unit unique to them. Level 0 units do not follow the standard EBO categorization of Hunters, Knights, Marksmen, etc. Though their combat parameters may fit into such classes, the system is unable to classify these units thanks in part to their wildly high/low parameters.

  • Zero Specter Origins - A Level 0 Change unit originally developed for Hunter Kasai as a reward for his commitment to EBO. Since the decision to give beta testers Level 0 units was changed, this unit remains locked somewhere in EBO. The GMs have it hidden away in a place that Hunter supposedly visited frequently in the beta and is now a place that has been coded to be specifically accessed only by him. Hunter has yet to visit this place in the current version of the game, and hasn't been able to due to the nature of his work. It was unaffected during Genm's hacking, since its existence was hidden from everyone.
  • Game Master Origins - Various Level 0 Change units handed out to all available GMs inside of EBO. These units are initially blank entities that, once used in a Driver, will compile their data on the spot and conform to their user's imagined parameters and abilities then and there. As such, Game Master Origins units are usually unique to their wielders outside of their shared ability of debugging in-game without having to leave the game to manually debug in reality. After Genm hacked the game and trapped players inside of EBO, these units have lost their debugging abilities and any skills or abilities unique to each unit.
  • Proto Phoenix Arms - One part of a set of legendary Level 0 units that was supposedly wielded by ancient warriors in the lore of Entity Burst Online, known simply as the "Proto Knight Arms." This warrior's power was over fire and swords, specifically longswords of any type. This unit is considered a "Proto" unit for a variety of reasons. For one, its power and abilities are heavily unrefined, thus being unable to be considered a normal Unit according to modern EBO standards on differentiating a prototype from a normal unit. The other reason is because it was never recovered in order to be refined, leaving its whereabouts unknown. The user of this unit is entitled the "Crimson Phoenix" in reference to the color scheme of this armor and the entity within.
  • Proto Leviathan Arms - Another part of the "Proto Knight Arms" series of units. The warrior who wielded this was known for his skill with the spear, as well as his ability to manipulate water. On occasion, the original user of this unit wielded longbows as a long-range support role. Proto Leviathan remains a prototype for the exact same reasons as Proto Phoenix. The epithet granted to the user of this unit is "Navy Leviathan" from its armor's navy blue color scheme and the entity contained inside.
  • Proto Thunderbird Arms - The third unit in the "Proto Knight Arms" series, this unit specializes in using lightning and wind, with the warrior assigned this unit known for his mastery over scythes. Like the others listed before it in this series, Proto Thunderbird is designated a prototype for being unrefined to modern EBO standards and because of its unknown location. The title of this unit's user is the "Juniper Thunderbird" in reference to the Juniper green, which is used in this unit's armor coloration and as an allusion to the entity inside.
  • Proto Golem Arms - The fourth and final unit in the "Proto Knight Arms" series, exerting excellent skill with earth-based abilities and the halberd. It shares its reasons for being a Proto unit with the rest of the Proto Knight units, where its location is unknown, thus being unable to locate for refinement according to modern standards. The sobriquet that comes with using this unit is the "Amber Golem" for its namesake entity as well as the shades of yellow used to color the armor granted.

Level 1/2[]

Units that can access Level 1 armors are generally able to access a Level 2 form since units meant for accessing Level 3 and above are generally augment units; rarely will an Entity unit generate a Level 3 armor without an augment unit to assist. Most Units in this category generate a bulky, Level 1 armor of varying designs, though they share the fact that they have the same helmet design that their Level 2 forms would have in a more cartoonish and chibi-like fashion. When the Driver is given the command to "Level up" to Level 2, the bulky armor is ejected off after a screen showing a simple, front-facing design of the Level 2 form which the player passes through is projected from the Driver. From here, Level 1 is either simply cast off and the player appears in their Level 2 form, facing backwards due to the Level 1 mask becoming the Level 2 back armor; or, a transitional cutscene plays involving the player casting off their armor and assuming an action pose of some kind before the cutscene fades away and the player returns to the setting prior to the cutscene. The cutscene transition is used only to make leveling up more dramatic, and is functionally useless otherwise. However, in PvP arenas, cutscene level-ups are often used to introduce fighters before the actual match begins as a means of inducing hype.

Hunters[]

Units classified as a Hunter unit fit the following general criteria: balanced combat parameters, stealth approach possible, and are able to wield any weapon without a slight boost in parameters that other units would provide. They have moderate defensive and offensive capacity, with average running speeds and decent armor durability. Hunter units are generally considered the most basic of armors to use, with other Entity classifications being compared to Hunter unit statistics to determine another unit's class. Units under this class include:

  • Mighty Longinus - Personal Hunter unit of Hunter Kasai. Part of a gift set as thanks for participating in the beta.
  • Proto Scizor Hades - Personal Hunter unit of Satoshi Kuroto. Modified from a Hades-based unit via coding changes.
  • Glacial Ripper - Personal Hunter unit of Kyoka Matsuzaki. Provides a variety of knives for the user to wield.
  • Big Boss - An event reward for completing the "Phantom Pain" event. Known for increased stealth parameters and the ability to use a cardboard box as a disguise that somehow doesn't get the user caught no matter the situation.
  • Phantom Thief - Given to players as a reward for finishing the event "Tear Off Your Mask." This Hunter unit has very high stealth parameters, allowing users to dash from cover to cover like a shadow. Unlike most Change units, when the Phantom Thief unit is used for Level 3+ armors, the entities held within the Augment units are summoned forth to do combat alongside players.
  • Mighty Hunter X - Given to players for participating in the "Genius Gamer's Recruitment" quest, the finale of a three-part quest line involving the "Destiny's Quest" and "Sniping Tiger" units. This unit arms the player with a hammer that can reconfigure into a long-sword form for the sake of multiple melee weapons. It also has a noticeable lack of stealth abilities, which is compensated for with an increase in its general stats outside of that.

Knights[]

Units under the Knight category are identified by their increased melee proficiency, as well as increased defense, decreased speed, slightly higher armor durability. The most recognized indication that an Entity is a Knight is if the user summons a melee weapon and is able to wield it better than other units. Knights are also well-known for their passive ability: a 5% boost to a melee weapon's stats as well as wielding the weapon much easier than a Hunter or Marksman would. While the stereotype of a Knight is that of a melee weapon-only fighting style, there are players with Knight units that wield firearms instead of melee equipment; this approach to a Knight results in the user having to compensate for wielding the firearms themselves, and develop a greater skill for wielding firearms than a Marksman would. Rather ironic, indeed. Units under this class include:

  • Chivalrous Calibur - Personal Knight unit of Hunter Kasai. Part of a reward set for beta participation.
  • Armored Themis - Personal Knight unit of Haruko Amachi. Designed by the Hatena Military Police for her use after gathering data on her fighting style.
  • Rebuilt Raiden - An event reward for completing the "Revengance" event. Comes equipped with a katana that can be charged with electricity to increase cutting power.
  • Destiny's Quest - An event reward for the "Genius Surgeon's Resolve" quest. Equipped with a sword whose blade can be infused with either fire or ice damage. This armor and the quest attached to it is part two in a quest line that features the "Sniping Tiger" unit and the "Mighty Hunter X" unit.

Marksman[]

Units designated as a Marksman are known for their slightly increased defense and speed, high armor durability, and lowered melee parameter. To compensate for their low melee combat parameters, Marksman units feature high firearm proficiency and are given a firearm that best matches their style, with the armor compensating for the drawbacks of a gun automatically. Recoil is dealt with, while on-board aiming assistance allows Marksman users to pull off incredible ricochet shots. Much like a Knight can wield a firearm with detriments, a Marksman can wield melee weapons to a limited extent. As they are not designed for melee combat, the sight of a melee-oriented Marksman is rare, though they are able to develop greater skill in wielding non-firearm weapons in an ironic twist. Units under this class include:

  • Sniping Specter - Personal Marksman unit of Hunter Kasai. Reward for participating in the beta test.
  • Rebounding Sharpshooter - Personal Marksman unit of Hideo Yamamoto. Designed with a non-lethal approach in mind due to his dislike for killing.
  • Designated Marksman - Mass-produced Marksman unit given to Hatena Military Police members. Users are armed with a DMR and a pair of SMGs of their choice, with additional attachments providing further customization. These units are incapable of Burst Strikes.
    • Designated Marksman (HA Ver.) - Personal Marksman unit of Haruko Amachi. Wields a custom FN SCAR Sniper Support Rifle variant and a pair of modified STK CPW sub-machine guns.
  • Aiming Artemis - Personal Marksman unit of Nanaha Kujo. Modified from an Artemis-based unit with coding changes.
  • Sniping Tiger - Event reward for completing the "Radiologist's Trigger" quest. It provides its wielder with a pistol that can configure itself into a rifle for long-ranged combat purposes. An advanced targeting system is installed in this unit's helmet. This armor and its attached quest is the first part in a three-part quest line.
  • Quiet Sniper - An event reward given as a result of completing the "Phantom Pain" event. This unit arms the player with minimal armor, and two unique sniper rifles that are equipped to fire either live rounds or tranquilizer rounds at subsonic speeds and can be outfitted with suppressors.

Racer[]

Units with the Racer class are generally used for summoning or becoming a vehicle programmed into the unit. Unlike the previous three classes, players use this class only for getting around by calling forth a transport of their choosing. Should these be used for transformations, the user would instead become the vehicle that the unit contains the data of, but with minor modifications to accommodate for the user transforming into the vehicle. Any vehicle can be stored in Racer units so long as it can be virtually copied by Nexus Theory; an armored APC can be stored in a Racer unit, but it cannot be modified aside from a color scheme of some sort and a few armaments such as light machine guns being mounted on it. Units under this class include:

  • Mach Lighter - Personal Racer unit of Hunter Kasai. Contains a customized LS-218 motorcycle.
  • Mach Corvus - A Racer unit modified from Hunter Kasai's Mach Lighter, containing a customized Honda CBR1000RR.
  • Speed Demon - A common Racer unit that usually contains motorcycles of some kind.
    • Speed Demon (Genm Ver.) - This Speed Demon unit belonging to Satoshi Kuroto contains a customized Ducati 1199 Superleggera motorcycle.
    • Speed Demon (Sakushi Ver.) - Nanaha Kujo's Speed Demon unit contains a custom Hellcat X132 motorcycle.
  • Sonic Ronin - A Racer unit modified from Satoshi Kuroto's Speed Demon, containing a customized Ronin Motorworks motorcycle.
  • Machine Jaeger - A Hatena Military Police Racer unit that is given to members with the proper permits and licenses. Contains a variety of motorcycle models that can be customized according to the user's tastes.
    • Machine Jaeger (HY Ver.) - A Machine Jaeger unit belonging to Hideo Yamamoto that contains a Ducati Monster S4 customized for police duty and a pair of non-lethal electrical MP7A1 sub-machine guns mounted on it.
    • Machine Jaeger (KM Ver.) - A Machine Jaeger unit belonging to Kyoka Matsuzaki that is much similar to Hideo's version, though it lacks the SMGs mounted on it.
    • Mashin Jaeger (HA Ver.)- Haruko's personal Machine Jaeger variant containing a customized Yamaha YZF R1. This unit has multiple copies of itself to allow Haruko to use it as many times as she wants/needs.
  • Lazer Gamer - A unique Racer unit that contains a copy of a Honda CRF250L. The unique component of this is that it can only be used to transform, meaning that the user can only use this to transform into a vehicle. When used in conjunction with an Augment unit, this bike will transform to assume a more humanoid form and add on the necessary armor and equipment the Augment unit provides to complete the level up.

Level 3+ or Action Units[]

Units that are Level 3 or higher are generally augment units meant to be used in conjunction with a Level 1/2 unit. Though there are notable exceptions, this is the general rule that most Level 3+ units follow. Action units are miscellaneous units that either augment pre-existing/pre-summoned equipment, allow for a Burst Strike to be activated, or summon miscellaneous equipment.

Action Units[]

  • Mending Isis - An action unit that is used in conjunction with special equipment to heal anyone that is used on to a limited extent. Healing is most effective when exposed to water or water vapor in the air.
  • Modular Marksman - Contrary to its name, the Modular Marksman is not its own Change unit, but instead summons a briefcase containing a machine-pistol that can be reconfigured into a variety of firearms.

Level 3 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Ifrit Slasher - Fire-based augment unit belonging to Hunter Kasai. Summons a longsword imbued with fire or a pair of powerful incendiary hand cannons.
  • Nymph Impaler - Ice-based augment unit belonging to Hunter Kasai. Summons a sword-like spear or a ice crossbow.
  • Sylph Reaper - Shock-based augment unit belonging to Hunter Kasai. Summons a scythe or a pair of sub-machine guns that fire electrical projectiles
  • Pygmy Smasher - Stone-based augment unit belonging to Hunter Kasai. Summons a halberd or a sawn-off shotgun.
  • Jettison Kabuto - Racer augment unit belonging to Hunter Kasai. Adds a booster system and modifies the frame of the bike to become sleeker. Can use the boosters to make the bike a hovercraft to some extent.
  • Unleashed Kerberus - Augment unit belonging to Satoshi Kuroto. Summons additional armor and gauntlets that can spew black fire.
  • Riot Suppressor - Augment unit belonging to Hideo Yamamoto. Equips user with armor and non-lethal weapons that Hideo can wield anytime he needs.
  • Arctic Cuirass - Augment unit belonging to Kyoka Matsuzaki. Adds an optical camouflage system, extra armor, and a variety of bladed weapons.
  • Stalking Picaro - Augment unit belonging to Haruko Amachi. User is given thrusters and armor, with the Designated Marksman (HA Ver.) unit gaining the Picaro Vector cannon.

Level 4 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Gekitotsu Robot-Smasher - Augment unit reward for the "Clashing Gathering" event quest, the first quest in a five-part installment. A combat-assistant NPC belonging to the Clashing Gathering event simply labeled "M" uses a grey-scale version of this unit, though his base armor is colored pink and neon green. This unit gives additional armor as well as a bulky gauntlet on one of the user's arms that significantly increases punching power.
  • Do-Re-Mi-Fa DJ - Augment unit rewarded to players for completing the "Beating Heart" event quest, part 2 of this five-event series. A combat assistant NPC wearing a grey-scale version of this unit over a light blue Knight unit can become a party of one's party to help complete the event as needed. This unit adds extra armor and a compact shield-like turntable that can play music to distract opponents and even damage them if they are not able to dance along to the beat successfully. Not many players went after this unit, surprisingly enough.
  • Chambara Sword-Master - Augment unit given to players as a reward for completing an event quest known as "Samurai's Lies," which is part 3 of the five-event series. A combat assistant NPC belonging to the Samurai's Lies event known as Kujo can be seen using a variant of this unit that is grey-scale, though it still contains gold in its color scheme to allow players to easily associate the NPC to the unit. This unit gives its user additional armor as well as access to a weapon that can change between dual sickles and a bow-like energy weapon.
  • Air Combat General - Augment unit gifted to players who complete the "High Hostages" event quest, the penultimate installment of this five-part series. An NPC can be recruited as a combat assistant wearing a grey-scale version of this unit over a navy blue Marksman unit. This unit arms the user with a jetpack, dual Gatling guns, a hidden missile pod, and a flight helmet with targeting systems.
  • Shakariki Spectator - Augment unit given to players for completing the "Identity Revealed" event quest, the grand finale of the five-part quest line. A variant of the combat NPC featured in the Clashing Gathering quest appears here, wearing the armor granted to the user when this unit is equipped. A bicycle is summoned by the unit, which then transforms into armor that is equipped to the user once they transition to Level 4 with this unit. The wheels are positioned to be shoulder pads of a sort, though they can be removed and charged with energy to be used as a projectile weapon.

Level 5 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Armed Wyvern - Augment unit belonging to Satoshi Kuroto. Additional armor, weapons systems, and a flight unit are equipped.
  • Sniping Succubus - Augment unit belong to Nanaha Kujo. Additional armor, weapons, and access to Enchantress Void rifle granted.
  • Storm Sovereign - A crude augment unit as an event quest reward for an EBO lore event. Grants the user additional armor and a sword containing the ability to release deadly blows of lightning and capable of generating a storm within the blade.
  • Wild Card Mk.5 - Reward for the "Tear Off Your Mask" event. Augment unit that allows a player to summon forth the Entity within their Change Unit or any Augment unit activated while this unit is active. The power of invoked Entities depends on the Level they raise a player to when used normally as well as the experience the user has with the unit in general. A Mk. 3 iteration and Mk. 4 variant were given as part of the event as well, though the Mk.3 iteration supposedly holds the greatest power among the three permutations while the Mk.4 variant is generalized as the second most powerful.

Level 10 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Scizor Hades X - Personal Hunter unit of Satoshi Kuroto. Hacked into the game after data was obtained from the Prototype variant. After gaining enough data, this unit provides the ability of immortality to any and all attacks as well as having unlimited Armor Durability. The damage dealt to Kuroto is channeled into his HP gauge to collect data. However, once the transformation is cancelled, the wounds inflicted on the user must be healed, or else the user faces the possibility of death with overuse of this unit and no breaks in between to heal. The armor must be removed in order for healing items to properly work, otherwise the damage gathered in its gauge will decrease; healing items reverse the damage, thus reversing the progress of the gauge. Developed into Threatening Thanatos and Conquering Chronos.
  • Seismic Poseidon - Augment unit belonging to Satoshi Kuroto. Base unit was hacked to perform similarly to Scizor Hades X. Contains water manipulation and a trident melee weapon. Developed into Conquering Chronos.
  • Storming Zeus - Augment unit belonging to Satoshi Kuroto. Base unit was hacked to perform similarly to Scizor Hades X. Contains lightning/electricity manipulation and a railgun weapon. Developed into Conquering Chronos.
  • Shining Artemis - A Marksman Change/Augment Unit created by Hunter Kasai for Haruko Amachi's use. It makes use of a unique combination of the Shadow and Rotation damage types in combat. A unique feature installed in the unit allows it to increase its level when certain criteria are met, increasing its combat potential and various other aspects of the formed armor as needed.
  • Restoring Apollo - A Marksman Change/Augment unit belonging to Hideo Yamamoto and created by Hunter Kasai. It shares the same Restoration ability as Diamond Restoration below, granting healing abilities as well as the ability to fix battle damage to surroundings so long as the debris remains in existence. As such, damage caused by the Void damage type cannot be restored. It shares the level-increase function hidden in Shining Artemis.
  • Amphitrite Chaser - A Hunter Change/Augment unit given to Kyoka Matsuzaki by Hunter Kasai. It uses the Ice damage type and highly advanced stealth technology, making it perfect as an assassin or a viable sniper unit. In addition, this unit has incredible control over ice and water vapor in the air for greater advantages in cold or wet areas. It shares the hidden level-increase with Restoring Apollo and Shining Artemis.
  • Diamond Restoration - A Hunter unit that can be found in super super rare item drops. It possesses the ability to restore or revert anything it punches to a previous state in its history, allowing it to break apart a building into the materials used to make it or heal any person's wounds. However, it is unable of healing its own user, nor can it restore life to players already determined dead by the system. This restoration effect is dependent on the user's mood, meaning that the user must be in a good mood or willing to restore something to its previous state perfectly; otherwise, a user may restore something or someone in a warped, improperly-restored form.

Level 20 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Platinum Time - An ultra-rare Hunter unit found in item drops in the dungeons of Hatena. This possesses the ability to stop time for five seconds at most. When first used, the player will only be able to stop time for half a second. Thus, continued use of the time-stopping ability will allow the player to slowly develop the amount of time they can stop until they reach the five-second maximum. Aside from this ability, it has significantly higher punching power and speed than most units Level 20 and lower.

Level 50 Augment/Change Units[]

  • As of now, all Level 50 Augment/Change units with relevance to EBO: Resume are left unlisted to avoid spoiling readers.
  • Ashen Champion - A powerful Knight unit that was an event quest reward that delved into the lore of EBO. Its power is based around ashes and flames, allowing a player to restore their Armor Durability via exposure to ashes, cinders, or fire. A player with this unit can become immortal, though this armor can be defeated by any unit with Ice-based abilities and any unit with anti-flame abilities. Its crude storage device depends on the equipment the player who completed the quest used.
  • Solaire's Legacy - A powerful Knight unit from a lore-based event that gives players various buffs based around the sun. Assuming a certain pose will give players the ability to temporarily channel the power of the sun into their fighting style. Its crudely-made storage unit varies on the equipment that the user commonly wields.
  • Destiny's Fantasy - A Knight Change unit that grants the user additional armor as well as the ability to summon a small group of humanoid beasts to act as cannon fodder while the user themselves uses their newfound telekinetic and energy powers to create energy weapons that can be used for both melee and projectile purposes. This unit is a reward for completing part one of a three-part event line, which acts as a sequel to the "Beating Heart" quest.
  • Sniping Simulations - A Marksman Change unit that comes pre-equipped with heavy armor and an arsenal of deadly guns. Its user is given to bulky gauntlets containing the Over-Destroyer blasters, as well as the Scramble Cannon Unit on the body which holds a variety of energy guns and missile launchers. This unit is given as a reward for completing the sequel of the High Hostages event, known as "Scramble Off!" This is part two of a three-part event line, with the final part coming after EBO has its next big update which is rumored to include a level cap increase on the armors.

Over-Level Units[]

Currently, EBO has a maximum of Level 50 for its units. A future update of EBO will include an increase in this level cap to Level 100. This section of the catalog is dedicated to units in Levels above this level cap.

Level 99 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Maximum Hunter X - The unit is awarded for the completing the finale in the three-part event line featuring "Sniping Simulations" and "Destiny's Fantasy," the event attached to this entitled "Maximum Assistance!" This unit is Level 99, and summons a mech-like armor for the user. The mech can stretch its limbs, in addition to significantly increased defensive power and a heavily hindered running speed. To compensate for its low speed, a hover system is installed to allow the mech to float off the ground and additional propulsion mechanisms to allow it to achieve a state of pseudo-flight.
  • Sunlight Striker - This Level 99 form is a heavily-armored mobile armory of an armor that makes use of various hard-light, non-lethal projectiles as per the philosophy of its primary user. In this form, the user gains the ability to dash around at the speed of light, as well as create hard-light holograms and an enhanced form of healing/restoration that can use light to replace that which was deleted. In addition, this form contains the ability to empower itself by absorbing light attacks aimed against the user or by absorbing ambient light from the user's surroundings; this allows the user to supercharge their weapons to fire faster, hit harder, or increase precision immensely. If the user holds onto this extra charge for too long, the armor will overheat and forcefully cancel the transformation in an attempt to protect its user. The overheat state is intense, and requires the user be cooled down significantly, which can be adequately provided by the Absolute Zero Assassin's unique ability.

Level 100 Augment/Change Units[]

  • Destiny's Legacy - A Level 100 Knight Change unit combining the power of "Destiny's Fantasy" and "Destiny's Quest" into one unit. Instead of summoning humanoid beasts, he can increase the power of his allies' Burst Strikes, as well as gaining abilities that allow him to heal allies and augment them. This unit can be considered EBO's take on the "Paladin" character class in most RPGs, though in a much more powerful way. One of two Level 100 units in the entirety of EBO.
  • Izanagi Arms - A unit with a previously-unknown Level seemingly paired with Zero Specter Origins. It was a gift designed by Nexus Theory for Hunter Kasai, a present dedicated to his commitment to EBO. As recently revealed, this unit is a Level 100 unit with an active lock placed on it to prevent the unit from being used against Hunter. The only way to disable this lock is with Hunter's Zero Specter Origins' nullification. At the moment, its full potential is unknown.

Fusion/Hybrid Units[]

These units are rare because of their origins: either a result of a glitch in EBO's coding or as a reward for completing certain limited-event quests. Their levels, classifications, and abilities are all entirely dependent on the units that are used in the fusion or as a result of Nexus Theory's programming. As such, these units will be classified by level, with their descriptions containing the remainder of their information.

Level 1/2[]

  • Mighty Specter - A Level 2 Hunter, Marksman, and Knight Change unit fusion owned by Hunter Kasai as a result of Scizor Hades X's completion. Through some unknown reason, Mighty Longinus fused with Chivalrous Calibur and Sniping Specter to form this unique Change Unit that Hunter now uses as his only personal Change Unit.

Level 20[]

  • Binary Specter - Personal Hunter unit of Hunter Kasai. Prototype unit with that achieves a Level 10 transformation, with a Level 20 transformation currently a work in progress. Its status as a Hybrid is due to the fact that an entity with a dual nature was used to create this unit.

Level 50[]

  • Threatening Thanatos - A Level 50 Hunter Change unit owned by Satoshi Kuroto. When Scizor Hades X filled all of the orbs in its armor and Kuroto absorbed the data of a player's death, he converted this data into Threatening Thanatos. This unit is a direct upgrade to Scizor Hades, featuring a modified version of the immortality that he previously used. Instead of using the damage dealt to fill a gauge up, the unit disperses the damage throughout the suit itself rather than allowing the damage to directly affect Kuroto. Being made from the data of Scizor Hades X, Threatening Thanatos is able to identify almost every form of damage possible within the game and instantly disperse the damage throughout the suit generated; shortly afterwards, the suit begins to instantly regenerate from the damage. It's primarily used with Conquering Chronos to access Kuroto's Level 50 form.
  • Conquering Chronos - A Level 50 Augment unit owned by Satoshi Kuroto that allows him to initiate the Pause ability. On its own, Conquering Chronos contains the ability to literally pause the game, forcing players to stop moving, attacks to halt mid-movement, and their consciousnesses are also left unaware of the pause. As such, it replicates the ability to stop time. However, the Pause ability is incapable of distinguishing its user from the intended victims on its own. To counteract this, Kuroto's custom Driver harnesses the Pause and sends it outwards away from him, thus leaving him unaffected. The maximum radius of effect is unknown. Perhaps it even fluctuates, depending on current conditions. In addition, the Pause is only accessible using Kuroto's custom Driver, as the Driver holds all the devices and equipment necessary to access and manipulate the Pause. This is used in conjunction with Threatening Thanatos to access Kuroto's Level 50 form.
  • Profaned Pontiff - A Level 2 Change unit created from two Knight units. This unit was a reward for a limited-edition quest line delving into the lore of Entity Burst Online. A crude unit that takes whatever form the quest-clearer's equipment uses, it is capable of using a dark flame fueled by an unholy fuel and channeling the darkness within the moon to unleash a dark wave of energy. Two greatswords can be summoned to wield, the right blade infused with the unholy fire while the left holds the power of dark moon magic.
  • Paradox Personas - A two-in-one unit that is both a Change unit as well as an Augment unit. It acts as a Change unit when used to transform initially. Any form changes between the two forms offered by this unit will be treated as use as an Augment unit. Another unique trait about this unit is that it takes the form of a cartridge and is able to function independent of cartridge drivers. This unit is currently in the hands of Shouma Hojo.
    • Paradox Personas: Fighting Fists - A form colored red that has high punching power and is able to put fire into its punches. Its defensive parameters are on par with the Level 50 standards.
    • Paradox Personas: Puzzling Predictions - A form with blue coloration known for its ability to summon items that provide various different buffs before combining them together to unleash devastating finishers.
    • Paradox Personas: Fistful of Predictions - By using this unit in a cartridge driver, the user fuses the two Level 50 forms into a higher level form. This form and functionality will be implemented once the next update for EBO containing a level cap raise is released. Once this update is released, more info will be added to this.
  • Kindred Warriors βeta - A Level 50 two-in-one unit much similar to Paradox Personas. In fact, [REDACTED] created this unit based off of the Paradox Personas unit for [UNKNOWN]. The forms provided by this unit are the same when used on its own or in a Driver, though use in a Driver provides more power than using the unit on its own. Unlike Paradox Personas, this dual-unit does not provide a form that fuses the Level 50 forms into a single, higher level form. Both feature powerful abilities that can potentially damage the user.
    • Kindred Warriors βeta: Absolute Zero Assassin - This Level 50 form is a lightly-armored, high-mobility stealth form that improves upon the user's previous form. Absolute Zero Assassin posses the ability to freeze things to Absolute Zero, reducing all atomic motion to zero and causing the frozen objects to crumble under their own mass. However, she's only able to use this ability so long as she makes contact with the object in question; this does not stop her from spreading the effects of Absolute Zero though. Using the weapons provided by this form, one can channel the power of Absolute Zero around the weapons and propagate its effects by having the aura make contact with an object and freeze it. Not only does the Absolute Zero inducement affect the user's enemies, it also affects the user as well; as such, the user must take care in using this ability, lest they be frozen and crumble apart from their own power. The designer of this unit embedded safety restraints that cause the unit to automatically cancel the transformation should the user's body temperature drop to or below an unsafe limit. Once the user is ejected from the armor, they must thaw themselves and take care in doing so, as too much energy applied too quickly can harm the user. As a method of thawing, any user of Sunlight Striker can thaw the Absolute Zero Assassin's user out slowly by channeling sunlight into the latter in order to give the molecules and atoms enough energy to start vibrating at normal temperatures.
    • Kindred Warriors βeta: Moonlight Sniper - This Level 50 form is similar to its counterpart: a lightly-armored high-mobility armor that makes use of moonlight for combat. It can travel through shadows, manipulate shadows within a 5-meter radius, and can even manipulate local gravity within a 2-meter radius to a small extent. Its user can float, fly, hover, and even channel the gravity around them into their attacks. They can invert surfaces by dramatically changing the gravitational force acting upon the object, as well as create a dense gravity shield for stopping attacks aimed at the user. Moonlight can augment this units power, allowing the user to increase their power to significantly and expand the 5-meter radius to a 7-meter radius with a full moon's power. The user can also manipulate lunar energy to create constructs, enhances attacks, or mix in Lunar energy with other energies to repurpose the foreign energy for the user's own needs. However, the user can only hold so much energy for so long, thus requiring the user to regularly discharge excess energy or risk potentially fatal damage to themselves. The unit is also designed with Rotational energy in mind, using a sleek, custom-made rifle designed to harness the Rotational energy into compact spheres of pure lunar energy compressed via the gravity manipulation into an incredibly dense and powerful package sure to devastate the unfortunate fellow who is on the other end of this rifle's barrel.

This page is gonna be a continuous work in progress until EBO: Resume is finished. Even after it concludes, it's possible this page won't be completed until well after.
