Before the Fire (Also known as BtF) is a prequel and a side story of Sword Art Online: Past of Ashes.
It also relates events before Sword Art Online: Last Light.
Overview[]
It takes place before the beginning of the SAO:PoA, acting as a prequel, and tells the past of all the kids that one day would form the guild known Royal Knights.
It also relates how Galant and Sakura fell in love with each other, the close relationship between Galant and Lance, and the friendship of Galant and Mordread (Miya Kiryuin) before they became sworn enemies.
